The winner of the competition will win a table of four in the Legends Lounge at the Riverside Stadium for Boro’s match vrs Hull City on April 19. The below terms and conditions apply.
Terms and conditions
- Submission of Entries
1.1 In consideration of the receipt of entries by entrants, the Council offers the opportunity in its discretion for the publishing and acknowledgement of entries in accordance with the terms of this agreement.
1.2 The closing date for entries is midnight on April 14th 2023. No entries will be accepted after this time.
- Selection Process
2.1 A winner will be selected at random.
2.2 If the winner is unable to be contacted after reasonable attempts have been made, Middlesbrough Council reserves the right to offer the title of ‘winner’ to a runner up of its choice and in its sole discretion.
2.3 The winner will receive a hospitality package for four people for Middlesbrough Football Club vs Hull City at the Riverside Stadium, Middlesbrough on 19 April 2023.
3. No Liability
3.1 Middlesbrough Council reserves the right to cancel this competition or alter any of the rules at any stage, if deemed necessary in its opinion, and if circumstances arise outside of its control.
3.2 The Council shall have no liability whatsoever in respect of any costs, expenses or losses incurred by entrants in relation to this competition or any cancellation or rule alteration as per this clause 3.
3.3 Entrants acknowledge that the Council is running this competition for artistic and cultural purposes for the benefit of the people of Middlesbrough and is not making a profit from the competition. For this reason, the terms of this agreement are fair and acceptable.
4. Third Party Rights
4.1 The Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 shall not apply to this agreement and no person other than the entrant and the Council shall have any rights under it. The terms of this agreement or any of them may be varied, amended or modified or this agreement may be suspended, cancelled or terminated or this agreement may be rescinded by the Council at any time (in each case), without the consent of any third party.
5. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
5.1 Any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with this agreement or its subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be subject to the laws of England and the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
