Located right in the heart of the town centre, Middlesbrough Town Hall is a performance and events venue bringing the world’s biggest and best to Middlesbrough.
The building represents both the heart of civic life on its municipal side, and a unique performance space for artists and visitors alike.
From entertainment to weddings, events, conferences and beyond, expect to be both entertained and awed by the gothic exterior and lovingly-restored interiors, which are not to be missed.

A £7.7m refurbishment saw the Town Hall completely overhauled in 2018, undergoing extensive renovations after a 125-year life operating as a pillar of the local community.
Many rarely-seen elements of the Grade II listed building were brought back to life during the renovation.
It also saw the grand concert hall restored to its former glory, while areas like the old police cells, courtroom, and fire station, as well as the spectacular carriage driveway, were opened to the public for the first time in decades.
