Redcar beach

Enjoy traditional seaside charm when you visit Redcar beach
>

Why not have a paddle or even a swim in the sea, and make sure you explore the fascinating rock pools.

You can also enjoy a stroll along the esplanade, grab a lemon top ice-cream, chance your luck in the amusement arcades, visit the world’s oldest surviving lifeboat, and venture up the 80ft high Redcar Beacon to enjoy stunning views of Redcar seafront.

Just a few minutes’ walk from the main esplanade takes you to Coatham. With its large stretch of sandy beach, it’s a popular spot for horse riding and watersports including windsurfing and kite surfing.
