A historian talk on the vibrant cultural history of curry in Middlesbrough.

The history of curry in Middlesbrough from the first curry houses of 1940’s opened by Indian and Somali sailors; the first Pakistani woman who in 1949 had chilli powder posted from a chemist from London, to when curry was king, and now being part of the current vibrant culinary scene.
