As part of Middlesbrough’s Black History Month celebrations, Dorman Museum welcome a thought provoking and moving ballet performance that tells the story of Windrush and the impact it has had on society and the generations who were part of the movement, or form part of its important history.
The Black British Ballet project, led by the Brixton based organisation, Oxygen Arts, has
created the ballet performance which also explores themes around our modern day communities and society, 75 years since the Windrush movement.
This moving tale follows a young Caribbean soldier and his family in WW2 Britain through their life in the UK up to the current Windrush scandal.
The show will be followed by a Q&A with the dancers and creators.
Please note bookings can be made in person and by phone by calling 01642 813781 or online.
