The sixth edition of the Middlesbrough Art Week returns this autumn and take place across various town centre venues from Thursday 28 September until Saturday 7 October.

Formally known as the ‘Middlesbrough Art Weekender,’ MAW now extends to a full week of exhibitions, talks, workshops, performances, events and exciting public interventions.

This year’s MAW programme features over 80 artists who are exploring the theme of ‘Measure’ engaging with ways of thinking of past, present and future. Work selected this year asks audiences to notice the centrality of time and how we perceive, mark, measure and value.
