The 5k is an achievable distance and a good first challenge for most people. At just over 3 miles it can take about an hour to walk on average, but there’s no pressure to finish in a certain time. Go at your own pace to help fund life-saving cancer research.

Course information
The Middlesbrough route is a loop of the beautiful Stewart Park. The start is on the main field in between the main car park and the lower lake.

The 5km route has been designed to take in all the attractions the park has to offer. You will pass all the lakes within the park, the Captain Cook Birthplace Museum, the animal enclosures, and the memorial gardens.

Please arrive 30 to 45 minutes before your start time so that you are prepared and ready to go on time.
