Lorena + The Tide are a Dutch indie pop/rock band from Zaanstad. Their radio-friendly songs contain ocean-related metaphors and John Butler-inspired guitar parts. This summer, singer/songwriter Lorena and guitarist and vocalist Micha* will represent their band in the UK. While their usual “high tide” formation is a band of five, The Tide will tour Great Britain as an acoustic duo this August. They will cross the Canal to promote their debut album “Open Sea”, which contains eight summery tracks in the alternative pop, folk and country genres.
Toft House regulars who came to see the wonderful blues band, The Werewolves of Powys, in August 2018, may recall the fantastic guest guitarist they had with them that day. Well, he’s back!
Cally Billie Gatley is a local singer and songwriter with a fantastic voice. Don’t miss her opening set!
